For their class trip, Room 5 had the opportunity to visit Youthtown in March 2009. The main objective was to practise our language of success while we were outside our classroom. This video clip shows what we did.
Please feel free to leave us some comments after you have seen the clip. Thank you!

It looks and sounds like you had a wonderful day out Room 5. It also looked as if you were very well behaved getting on and off the bus which is very important for your safety. What was the South Pole Trek?
I think it was a wonderful trip!
What an amazing time you all had! We have a similar field trip coming up, and I know the class is very excited for it.
Jenny had stopped by our class blog recently ( http://reflectivecreations.wordpress.com )and left a comment and I thought I'd let you know that Hannah has posted a response:

My name Hannah and I am a fifth grader at Hawthorne School in Missoula, Montana, USA.
Hello room 5 how are you doing? I hope your learning lots. Is it hot in Auckland today, because it’s getting warmer by the minute in Montana. Do you get alot of snow there?
Jenny, type back soon and leave some qestions for me and the rest of the class. See ya!

Hi there Room 5
Wow, what an amazing trip to go on as a class. I like how you painted your portraits. It must of been a lot of fun to do the different sports too!
