Kia ora room 5 - I loved listening to what you like to do on your playground. I was lucky to go out to Camp Adair, in Hunua this week to stay with our Year 6 kids and I got to go on the Super Fox. It is a really massive flying fox. I had to climb up a pole that was 13m high and then was harnessed on to the flying fox and launch myself off a tiny platform (that part was so scary). But on the ride it was awesome - I was very brave and let go and waved my arms and legs like a starfish! It was wicked!

Room Five. I loved hearing about your playground. I was very lucky to visit your school last year a few times and see your wonderful playground. I don't remember seeing Mrs She on the Monkey Bars but she may have been on there when I wasn't looking. Everyone spoke very clearly and I liked the pictures that you had drawn to go with your voice thread story. I am a little old, but I still like playing on the swing.

You did a great job discussing your playground stories. My student Amy wants to know what kinds of food you eat in New Zealand. Do you think you could tell her?

Hi Room 5 - thank you for sharing your fabulous stories with us. It was lovely to hear you reading your stories out loud. We have 2 playgrounds at our school, one for the little kids and one for the big kids. I'm going to play your VoiceThread for Room 6 on Monday so that they can hear your stories too.
