As part of the Literacy learning process, Mrs She's children over many years wrote stories and then drew pictures to illustrate their stories. This story writing was integrated with childrens' Inquiries. Children also recorded their stories in movies so that they could share them with the world. We are proud of this work.
Recently, the Year 4 and 5 students were camping at the school ground as part of the outdoor educational programme. Class 18 visited the camp and this is Danielle's story.
Hi Danielle, My name is Larry and I'm studying to be a science teacher at the University of South Alabama in the United States. You did a wonderful job drawing your picture of yourself camping. I also enjoyed watching your video about camping at the school. It sounds like you had a great time! Do you like to go camping? I love camping. I really like the noises that the bugs and animals make at night. I also like to listen to the wind blowing the trees outside when I am camping. This was a fantastic blog post!

Hopefully one day you will get to go and be one of the big kids eating yummy food and going to the pool. Do you know how to swim? I have a little girl who is 5 years old. She is very afraid of the water. I hope this summer she can learn how to swim and not be afraid anymore. Keep up the great work on your blog. I will be watching for more stories that you do over the next few years.
