As part of the Literacy learning process, Mrs She's children over many years wrote stories and then drew pictures to illustrate their stories. This story writing was integrated with childrens' Inquiries. Children also recorded their stories in movies so that they could share them with the world. We are proud of this work.
This is the first week of school in 2009 and we have made our first movie for this term. We hope you'll like our movie and please feel free to leave us a comment.

Hi Room 5, Your room is looking very bright and colourful. It looks like you have been working in it for weeks instead of only a few days. Everyone still has gigantic smiles on their faces so I guess that means you are all still happy to be back at school! Always love your slide shows and movies!
Hello Room 5. You are very good making a movie in the first week of school. We are enjoying watching you learn at school. Keep up the good work. Mrs Reid
What a great video! I love your red hats. It is so interesting to see what you are doing on the other side of the planet!
I am a teacher at a school in Manchester UK and we are making films too. We have made 3d storyboards about the story Hansel and Gretel - do you know the story? We have also written our own version of the story and will put it all together with characters in a film next week.
You can see our progress on our blog, and we would love to hear what you think.

Hi Room 5, What a great movie to start the year. You are going to be doing some wonderful things with your teacher. I can't wait to see them on your blog.
You spoke very well in your movie. Your drawings look great on the computer. Keep up the great work. When you get a chance, check out my new classes blog: http://creativevoicepbs.blogspot.com/
