As part of the Literacy learning process, Mrs She's children over many years wrote stories and then drew pictures to illustrate their stories. This story writing was integrated with childrens' Inquiries. Children also recorded their stories in movies so that they could share them with the world. We are proud of this work.

Hi Mahana,
Thank you for that lovely story! I looked pretty scary in the play but that was because I was acting!
Mrs She.
Kia ora Mahana. I have enjoyed listening to your story and your reflection. It is lovely to see you writing about fun events like the immersion assembly and then taking time to reflect in what you have done. I agree Mrs She was scary. No-one knew what she was going to do with that sword! Mr Burt bought his pirate hat in the land of Blackbeard the Pirate. On the Outer Banks in America. Keep up the fabulous work.
Mrs Burt
Mahana I like the way that you wrote about assembly and then read it out afterwards. I couldn't be at the assembly because I dont live in Auckland but I heard all about it in your report, I have to say I can just imagine Mrs She being a mean, horrible and scary pirate, I dont think she had to act much!

Dear Mr Webb,
That was not very nice of you to say things like that about Mrs She. Mrs She is a very nice lady and teacher loved by her students!
I am sure you are only joking and I hear that you are her best friend!
Mahana and Mrs She.
