As part of the learning experiences of the Topic Studies about volcanoes and earth quakes, Room 7 had the opportunity to visit Mt Wellington which is an extinct volcano in Auckland, New Zealand. This video will show you some of the highlights of the trip. It is a special movie videoed and made by Room 7's teacher, Jenny She, using the green screen effects which come with imovie09.

Wow that was a cool video - thanks Mrs She. The weather was just right, kids looked like they really enjoyed themselves and awesome video footage. Hope you all had a wonderful experience and learnt something from it :)

Hi Room 7! What a fun trip! We are Year 0/1 students from Room A4 at Papatoetoe East Primary School. We have just started our own classroom blog. We really enjoy listening to your stories and watching your cool animations.
We hope that when we are in Year 2 next year, our stories will be as good as yours.
