As part of the Literacy learning process, Mrs She's children over many years wrote stories and then drew pictures to illustrate their stories. This story writing was integrated with childrens' Inquiries. Children also recorded their stories in movies so that they could share them with the world. We are proud of this work.
Room 5 are learning to be successful in their school work especially in writing and reading. We have made this movie to show how we are going to do just that.
Hi Room 5, Your movie on how to be a success is just wonderful. All your ideas are perfect. You need to listen to your teacher, be friendly, be active, eat healthy, etc. I am sure you will all have a successful year. I want to use this idea with my class. Thanks for sharing. My class looked at your blog today. We left a few messages on your voicethread. Mrs. Lynch
What an important idea for every class to think about! Another wonderful Room Five movie, your students are becoming famous! We talked about this in class and decided that the most important thing was to listen to the teacher and to help each other. Our students clapped after we saw it and one said "its better than our movies" so there you go. Have a nice day, I hope you are all good to each other and I hope you all listen to Mrs She. Room Eight, Melville Intermediate, Hamilton, Waikato.
Excellent job! Think about what these students will be doing when they are five or ten years older. Not only is the level of learning increasing, but now the expectations are as well. Nice job, class.
Hi Room 5 I have just watched your movie on PENN and I couldn't believe how wonderful it was. It is hard to believe that you are only in Year 2 and that you have been one of the first classes in the school to have work ready to show on Television. You are stars. I hope Mrs Tele'a puts it on schoolTV next week too so your parents can watch it on TV at home. That would be cool. Keep up the good work Mrs Burt
Well done room 5, another interesting post! I'd love to see a movie of you playing your ukelele's that looks a lot of fun! I have just re-set up a music room at my school. I'm so pleased that you know how to be successful - I always try to be my best in everything I do - do you? (I think, yes!) from your friend Mrs Driver http://phsjuniornews.blogspot.com
Well done, it is never too early to start talking about how to be successful. Its great that these students know exactly what is expected of them at such a young age....really enforcing accountability. Great work. Mr. McClung
