Class 18 knows how to sing the months of the year song in Maori. from Jenny She on Vimeo.
As part of the Literacy learning process, Mrs She's children over many years wrote stories and then drew pictures to illustrate their stories. This story writing was integrated with childrens' Inquiries. Children also recorded their stories in movies so that they could share them with the world. We are proud of this work.

Wow! That's very cool! I think at least knowing a few words in another language is important. I can sing Happy Birthday in Spanish, but thats about all! Are there any other languages the children can speak?
Hello Mrs. She, my name is William Taylor, I am a student at the University of South Alabama. South Alabama is located in Mobile, Alabama. Are you able to locate Mobile, Alabama on a map? Mobile is a port city famously known for Mardi Gras and seafood. I think it's incredible for your students to learn the Maori language and in a way that is fun and engaging. I am looking forward to observing more of your students’ work.
Cheers!
This is a really cool video. I think it's very important for every body to speak multiple languages in today's society.
