Leilani Explains why she wears a hat from Jenny She on Vimeo.
As part of the Literacy learning process, Mrs She's children over many years wrote stories and then drew pictures to illustrate their stories. This story writing was integrated with childrens' Inquiries. Children also recorded their stories in movies so that they could share them with the world. We are proud of this work.

Hello Leilani! Im Alexis McSwain, and I'm a student at the University of South Alabama in EDM 310. I have watch your video and saw your picture. I think it's great. I wear hats to but only when I go to the beach. I think what you and your classmates are doing in the blogs is an awesome idea, you guys get to communicate and talk to be people and different students all over the world. Tell your teacher and your classmates to keep up the good work. So Leilani do you go to the beach as well?
Hey, Leilani! I am also a student with the University of South Alabama, in EDM 310. I loved your explanation about why you should wear a hat. I live in the south, so hats are very important. You have an awesome blog, can't wait to read more.
Hi Leilani, my name is Miriam Bellamy. I go to the University of South Alabama in EDM310 as well. I enjoyed listening to your explanation. Hats are very helpful on making some things better when you wear them. Keep up the wonderful work.
Hello Leilani! My name is Allie Padgett, and I am a student at the University of South Alabama. I also wear a hat sometimes. I wear one when I go to the beach to protect my face from getting sunburnt. It also keeps the sun out of my eyes. I loved your drawing!
