As part of the Literacy learning process, Mrs She's children over many years wrote stories and then drew pictures to illustrate their stories. This story writing was integrated with childrens' Inquiries. Children also recorded their stories in movies so that they could share them with the world. We are proud of this work.
When Room 6 went to Butterfly Creek, a butterfly landed on Russell's arm and this is his story about that butterfly!

Wow, seems really good that you got a butterfly on your hand. I got one of them on my hand before and I thought it was really good. Please can you get you and your class to come and comment on my blog at: www.chloebutterworth.edublogs.org I hope you like it. From Chloe.
Hey Russell! My name is Diane Boudreau and I'm from EDM310 at the University of South Alabama. I love that I got to listen to you read your story because I love butterflies! They are really fun to hatch too. Starting from the caterpillar egg and watching them grow! That is just so neat that it landed on your arm too! Do you know what kind of butterfly it was? That would be awesome to find out! Keep up the good work! Diane Boudreau
